Marketplace of IT interview recordings
Client: UTP market
A marketplace where candidates prepare for job interviews with recordings of real interviews and earn money from their own experience

Project at a glance
UTP market is a platform where candidates prepare for job interviews using real interviews at IT companies. The task was to build a marketplace where the same user can buy other candidates’ materials and sell their own recordings with a breakdown. Buyers need to find interviews for a specific company and seniority level, assess the content before paying and get access to what they bought. A separate task was to verify recordings using proof of the interview.
- Catalog with search, sorting and filters
- Interview page with a free preview
- Verification based on proof of date and length
- Paid recordings available in “My purchases”

Preparing for a specific interview
The UTP market catalog contains real questions from employers, candidates’ answers and the authors’ breakdowns. Search and filters help find material by company, field and experience. The choice can be narrowed further by salary, price, date, interview type, format and length.
The home page introduces the platform and offers search right away. Next to it, a “How it works” block lets visitors understand the product before choosing a recording.

Previewing a recording before paying
The interview page shows the company, specialization, level and interview details. Most recordings have a free preview, so buyers can assess the material before paying. The price and access terms sit next to the player.
For verification, the platform checks the proof of the interview’s date and length provided by the author. Verified materials get their own badge.
After payment, the recording opens on the site and stays in the “My purchases” section. If the content doesn’t match the description, users can request a refund themselves within 48 hours.

Catalog and purchase on a phone
In the mobile version, search is on the home page, and the catalog, favorites, cart and account are in the bottom navigation.
On the interview page, the price, buy button and favorites sit in a sticky bottom bar. Users can read the description and check out the preview while the purchase stays within reach.

Your own experience as material
A candidate can be both a buyer and an author: publish recordings of their own interviews with a breakdown and earn income. Payouts go to a card or via SBP (Russia’s Faster Payments System).
There is a reward promo code for recent interviews. The offer for authors is on the home page: the platform speaks to people preparing for interviews and to those who have already been through one and are ready to share their experience.
Goals
- Combine buying and selling recordings in one account
- Help candidates prepare for a specific company and level
- Let buyers assess material before purchase
- Confirm that recordings are genuine
Target audience
- Candidates preparing for interviews at IT companies
- Authors selling recordings of their interviews with a breakdown
