Gamified dashboard for a development team
Quantum Dev’s internal game-style dashboard shows each project’s path from assignment to payment and counts accepted work toward the developer’s personal progress

Project at a glance
Quantum Dev needed an internal dashboard for its developers and administrator. It had to show how project work was going: progress, deadlines, available tasks and acceptance stages. Developers needed a clear view of where their work stood; the administrator needed a way to manage project assignment and the order of related tasks.
- Project assignment and submission for review
- Separate acceptance and payment statuses
- Undoing a payment mark set by mistake
- Project access by request, by date or after prerequisite tasks are accepted
- Show project progress, deadlines and status
- Make the rules for accessing tasks clear
- Separate work acceptance from payment

From assignment to payment
Quantum Gamification separates what developers and the administrator can do. A developer requests projects and submits finished work for review. The administrator assigns tasks and confirms acceptance.
Acceptance and payment have separate statuses. Accepted projects awaiting payment are grouped in their own section, so developers see that their work has been accepted and payment is still to come. The administrator can undo a payment mark set by mistake.
Clear access rules
A project opens at a developer’s request, on a set date or after the previous piece of work is accepted. This way, the administrator sets the order of related tasks, and developers can see what access to the next project depends on.
Dependencies apply to submission too: if a project is linked to a previous task, it can be submitted for review only after that task is accepted.
Accepted work becomes progress
Only accepted projects count toward personal progress. Ranks show growth, and reaching a goal sets off confetti. The game feedback is tied to work the administrator has confirmed.
Built with Python
The dashboard runs on Python 3 and its standard library. The interface is a single HTML file, and data is stored in data.json. The app needs no separate database.
Shared administrator and developer data syncs automatically every 5 seconds. Project assignment, submission for review and acceptance are combined in one internal studio product.
