Automated auto parts listings on Avito
Client: parts24online
The service brings together 4,084,420 auto parts cards, helps compare purchase prices and prepare data for listings on Avito, a Russian classifieds marketplace

Project at a glance
parts24online works with a range of auto parts from the price lists of two suppliers. The client needed to prepare this data for listings on Avito: make part names easy to understand, collect photos and then set up automatic uploads.
- Uploading and parsing supplier price lists
- Merging offers by brand and part number

One database instead of scattered price lists
From 6,262,230 supplier offers, we built 4,084,420 auto parts cards across 87 brands. Offers were merged by brand and part number, keeping the purchase prices and the link to the original price list.
Different spellings of the same brand made it hard to match parts. A reference list reduced 119 variants to 87 names. At the same time, individual brands within brand groups were kept separate.
Parts search and price comparison
In the admin panel, you can find a part by name or part number, compare supplier offers and see the source of each price. The best purchase price is highlighted on the card.
Filters by brand, price and card completeness help select the right part of the range: for example, parts that already have a name, a photo or vehicle fitment data. Photos can be viewed together with their sources.
Names for listings
We set up retrieval of the original part names, vehicle fitment and replacements. For listing titles, we built a dictionary: fixing one line changes a part’s name in all linked cards.
For a sample of 46,279 cards, we prepared 43,205 pairs of names. The short version, up to 50 characters, is for the Avito listing title; the extended one, up to 100 characters, is for the team’s work. Length, brand and part number are checked as the names are assembled. Unknown names are sent for clarification.
Collecting and checking photos
The service collects photos and stores the results in the database. While collecting, it filters out placeholder images and checks whether the beginning of the listing title matches the part name. Watermarked photos are flagged separately and not counted as usable.
After a stop, processing resumes from the remaining cards, with no need to go through the already processed part of the catalog again.
