Problem

The Ferma Kota Fedora (“Fedor the Cat’s Farm”) brand needed an online store for cat and kitten food and treats. The range covers wet and dry food, including food for adult and sterilized cats.

What we did
  • Catalog of food and treats
  • Filters by flavor and the cat’s needs
  • Product sorting
  • Prices and add-to-cart buttons in the product list
What the client wanted
  • Present the brand and its range of food and treats
  • Help shoppers choose food by a cat’s age and needs
  • Make the store accessible from computers and smartphones

Getting to know the brand

On the home page, shoppers are greeted by Fedor the cat, the brand’s character. An illustrated banner presents the food and treats and leads to the catalog. Below it begins the story of the character and of what goes into the products.

A separate page covers the brand’s history and its range. Shoppers can get to know the products before choosing food for their cat.

Choosing food for a cat

The catalog is split into food and treats. The product list has filters by flavor and special needs, so shoppers can narrow the range down to food for kittens or sterilized cats.

The list cards show the package, name and price. “Add to cart” buttons sit next to each product, and sorting is available above the list. Delivery and payment terms have their own page.

The store on a smartphone

The site is adapted for mobile screens. On the home page, the banner is rearranged vertically: the offer and the catalog link sit above the characters. A navigation bar fixed to the bottom of the screen gives access to the home page, catalog, cart and sign-in.

Products are shown in two columns. Filters open from a separate button next to sorting, so a sidebar doesn’t take up space in the list. Shoppers see package photos, prices and add-to-cart buttons.
